TelCUBE is a starting project put on by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (Telecommunication Engineering, ETSIT) to develop a cubesat, giving the students the opportunity to work in a real space project at Technical University of Madrid (UPM).
One of the main purposes of TelCUBE is to combine a group of students with different profiles and interests. The only requirement to be part of this project is to be enough motivated and interested in the Space Technology and be ready to learn and discover new things while working in a real project.
With this project, we have different goals:
- Training on Space Technology
- Developing, launching and operating a satellite
- Working in an educational and multidisciplinary project with a proffessional approach.
- Practicing with real instruments and componentes (hands-on experience)
- Working in an international environment
- Giving the students the possibility to know the space industry and its differents careers
